About This Program
Our mission is to produce community-centered family medicine physicians trained to meet the broad scope of medical needs in rural and underserved communities of Virginia and beyond through real-world learning that promotes diversity, civic engagement, discovery and innovation. Year 1 is in Richmond, VA at our large academic hospital. Years 2-3 are at our rural community hospital, 1.5 hours south of Richmond in South Hill, VA.
