University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler (Athens) Program
About This Program
Rural, unopposed full-scope family medicine program with a strong focus on obstetrics care and serving the underserved. Our sponsoring hospital is the only hospital (and only L&D unit) in the county. Our continuity clinic is an FQHC that prepares residents to provide care to those who need it the most. Our program is supported by a robust network of community faculty across multiple specialties, and core faculty are specially trained in full-scope family medicine with obstetrics.
