Overview

The Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center founded the first Department of Family and Community Medicine (FCM) at an academic medical center in the U.S. in 1967. The vision of the Hershey FCM residency is to create an inspiring, supportive educational environment producing the next generation of full-spectrum family physicians prepared to lead, teach, and thrive in a changing healthcare environment while serving the community.
