Malpractice insurance is covered due to being an employee of a federal facility under the Federal Tort Claims Act. Ultrasound and simulation lab training are incorporated into resident academics through local medical school. Residents get a work-issued laptop at the start of residency. Residents will receive training in various Primary Care procedures throughout their residency.
