The Hawai'i Island Family Medicine Residency program is located in Hilo, Hawai'i, which is a rural community on the Big Island. We are proud of our residents and the community outreach that they participate in- walk with a doc, sports physicals, high school health care recruitment events, community gardens, "Ditch da Diabetes" (a resident driven program based on our Lifestyle Medicine curriculum applied to the Hawaiian population.
