The AltaMed Family Medicine Residency Program focuses on high quality equitable care and community engagement, with justice as a unifying theme. We are an FQHC in the South East Los Angeles area. Highlights are: 9 rotations in Community Medicine; Protected didactic time; Professional development and leadership opportunities; Mentorship and a supportive learning environment; Health Justice curriculum; Research support and opportunities; Ample elective time; youth outreach and pipeline programs.
