About This Program

Residents will receive training in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, HIV/AIDS care through the Ryan White Early Intervention Program, migrant health services, and in street medicine. The Family Medicine Residency Program will help address chronic health disparities and poor health outcomes by training residents in culturally competent, community-focused care, preparing them to serve underserved populations in both urban and rural underserved settings.
