About This Program
The UNC Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship offers a 2-year track for Emergency Medicine-trained physicians and a 3-year track for Pediatrics-trained physicians. Fellows primarily train at WakeMed Children's Emergency Department, handling over 40,000 pediatric cases annually. The program includes a strong clinical curriculum, monthly high-fidelity simulations, and opportunities for research and academic growth, preparing fellows for leadership roles in pediatric emergency medicine.
