The program is under the Orlando Health Academic Dept of Emergency Medicine and based primarily at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, which is a large free-standing tertiary children's hospital in Central Florida. Our emergency department is comprised of 29 beds and 4 trauma bays. It is the only level one trauma center for children in the Central Florida region. Our annual census is approximately 60,000 per year.
