Baylor University Medical Center Program
About This Program
The BUMC Emergency Department is a state-of-the-art 85 bed facility in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. BUMC ED averages over 100,000 visits per year. Patient acuity is high as demonstrated by a 26.6% admission rate with a 4.3% critical care rate. We support faculty involvement in local, state and national organized medicine groups. With a 1:2 ratio of student to educators we foster a learning environment that will grant residents access to the highest quality emergency medicine educatation.
