Busiest of EDs on Long Island, >90K pts/yr. Level-1 Trauma Ctr, STEMI Center, Stroke Center, Bariatrics Center, Level 2 PICU, and more. Training EM residents for >20 yrs, 10 residents/yr with a record of graduates getting the jobs/fellowships of choice. Unique resident experiences: protected academic time; EM US Fellowship; Heavy Peds experience and PEM fellowship; PGY2s rotate at Baltimore Shock Trauma; busy EM run Obs Unit; dedicated rsch rotation; residents attend national Conf each year!
