Overview

MRHC offers the opportunity to train in a rural, modern, progressive hospital (Mississippi's most socially responsible in 2024) with direct responsibility in high acuity patient care and enthusiasm for teaching from physicians and support staff. There is no competition for procedures in the ED. We are a nonprofit, city county owned, 200 bed, all private room, acute care, DNV accredited, certified for Medicare participation, Level 3 trauma facility. We estimate 31,000 ED visits annually.
