NGMC serves a patient population of 1.5M. Our primary clinical site is a high-acuity, busy, level 1 trauma center with a patient population of 100,000. Residents also rotate at a suburban hospital that sees 55,000 visits a year, and a rural hospital. We emphasize ICU and Peds for off-service rotations. Didactics emphasize simulation. Our residents are co-owners of the program. We have a strong culture and are mission-driven in all that we do.
