Overview

Our residency is designed to help residents develop strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and the confidence needed for effective emergency medicine practice. Training takes place in a high-volume, inner-city emergency department under the supervision of nationally recognized faculty. Residents take on increasing responsibility and can explore specialized areas such as EMS, global health, pediatric EM, ultrasound, administration, and research.
