About This Program

The best word to describe our program is "range." Our residents rotate at seven clinical sites to experience the entire breadth of emergency medicine, including uur primary site, Washington Hospital Center, which is a high volume, high acuity, safety-net hospital that cares for underserved patients in the heart of DC. Residents also rotate at community, academic, and rural sites. We have international elective options, numerous opportunities for event medicine, and incredible faculty.
