About This Program
Training at Cook County Health offers a unique and rewarding experience. Based in a safety-net hospital, we serve a varied and underserved patient population with complex medical needs. Our residents also provide care for Cook County Jail, the second-largest urban county jail in the nation, broadening their exposure to a wide spectrum of dermatologic conditions. Our patients are young, come from various racial and socioeconomic backgrounds, and often face significant barriers to care.
