University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga Program
About This Program
Emphasis is placed upon the personal instruction of the resident in the outpatient office, affiliated with University Surgical Associates, the Southeast region's largest general surgery and general surgery subspecialty practice. We provide training in Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection. We have a resident clinic which is staffed by attendings, but patients are identified as Patients of Residents. This gives them improved graded autonomy.
