The educational program incorporates simulator training; offering offers a day long program with UCD/UCSF faculty and fellows. Faculty and fellows participate in the Visiting Scholars Program with UC San Francisco. Fellows are required to complete an original clinical research project and a quality improvement project. The results of the clinical research project are presented at a regional or national meeting and funding is provided for registration, travel and lodging.
