Our cardiac division practices in the recently constructed (2017) WVU Heart and Vascular Institute. We provide anesthesia for patients requiring CABGs, valve surgeries, OPCABs, ECMO, VADs, and heart transplants in our quarternary care hospital. We have a robust robotic caseload that includes mitral valve repair, MIDCAB, and recently aortic valve replacement. We have a busy cardiology service where experience in EP and structural heart procedures can be gained.
