Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University Health Program

Providence, RILast Updated: 2/19/2026

About This Program

Brown University Health Anesthesiology provides over 80,000 anesthetics annually across three busy, tertiary-care hospitals. The case volume encompasses a full range of complexity, and is accommodated in the absence of any clinical fellows. Residents are encouraged to be creative and assertive in their endeavor to meet these challenges. Training in this environment is meant to create leaders. Our graduates are particularly equipped to immediately establish themselves as clinical leaders.
