About This Program

UNM is the primary hospital for the state and the only Level 1 trauma and academic center in the region. We offer away rotations at UCSD and Houston Methodist, as well as a local pediatric cardiac rotation. Our graduates are highly sought after and secure top jobs and fellowships. We also require a CA3 rotation in both POCUS and OR management. Residents with strong research interest can access protected research blocks starting in CA1 year
