The residency experience includes education in a county hospital serving a wide range of patients that are health and economically disadvantaged. Our program also has opportunities for community outreach activities. The curriculum provides education in the areas of perioperative medicine, ultrasound, and practice management/business. We are one of the few programs in the country that offer perioperative medicine education and experiences in outside the OR workflows.
