Watch video: Day in the Life of a HCA Kingwood IM & TY Resident
Hear from current residents about what makes our program outstanding. Our trainees enjoy autonomy with patient care, gain competence in all procedures, on-site parking, career opportunities after training, many weekends off, proximity to Houston, stimulating didactic curriculum with extensive board review preparation, and true family-friendly collegiality! This university-affiliated community program has close ties to the University of Houston School of Medicine and HCA, the nation's largest provider of Graduate Medical Education. Residents teach, research, publish, present, and learn, using access to numerous resources not available at many other programs.
Come join our program and experience outstanding clinical training!
The mission of the Kingwood Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program is to develop the next generation of physicians and physician leaders. As a part of HCA Healthcare, we are driven by a single mission: Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.
This program is designed to offer residents a rewarding, educational environment where residents are provided individualized learning opportunities by faculty and staff who support and sustain one another throughout quality care delivery. Our faculty are committed to ensuring the residents' clinical experience and educational needs are fulfilled while expanding residents’ perspectives to be inclusive of cultures, values, and ideals.
