Our ACGME accredited Epilepsy Fellowship Program is seeking three Adult Track candidates for July, 2023. During the year of training, the fellowship program provides an in-depth clinical experience in the medical and surgical management of seizure disorders and in the technical, nterpretive, and clinical aspects of EEG. Upon completion of the program fellows will function independently as epileptologists and become eligible for the ABPN subspecialty certification in epilepsy. The epilepsy program is based mainly out of the NAEC 4 level programs at North Shore University Hospital and Cohen Children’s Medical Center, with elective time at Lenox Hill Hospital. The combined program includes: an active epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU), long term monitoring and consultative services, active outpatient adult and pediatric epilepsy clinics, a dynamic epilepsy surgery program, and a research program including both clinical and basic science endeavors.
