3 Years of completed US Residency in Family Medicine of Internal Medicine in an approved program- Pass all steps of USLME with valid ECFMG certificate-Interview is a requirement, in person or virtual- Possible direct entry without U.S. Training, with completed 3 year residency in Internal or Family Medicine (with curriculum & diploma) outside the U.S. (not accredited by ACGME); Need all steps of USLME, plus exceptional scholarly qualifications relevant to geriatrics (limited number).

Fully accredited program by the ACGME for years. Duration: 1 year. Excellent clinical training, with exposure to geriatric patients from healthy to frail old, in all settings. Includes: acute hospital care, ambulatory (outpatient) care, nursing home experience, home care. Electives for physical, palliative care & would care.
