To be eligible for this open position you must have the following criteria met: Completed 1 full year of PGY1 (12.0 months credit) from an ACGME Family Medicine accredited program within the US. You will need to sign a waiver releasing your FM Milestones/CCC Reviews, ABFM ITE Score Report, completed PGY1 rotations, evaluations, and continuity clinic data (number of patients seen, etc.) from your previous training program to our program. We will need a letter from your former program director. Passed your USMLE/COMLEX Step 3 board exam. Unofficial transcripts must be provided. Current CV/Resume. At least two letters of recommendation, preferably recent letters and/or letters from program faculty that you worked with during your PGY1 residency. Copy of your MSPE from your medical school (if available). Unofficial medical school transcripts. Copy of your ERAS application (if available).

Additionally, all applicants must meet our basic criteria for employment: Successfully pass a ten-year criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening. All candidates must qualify for a resident medical license through the Iowa Board of Medical Examiners. Candidates that graduated from a medical school outside of the United States or Canada, must have a complete, valid ECFMG certificate. Currently, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship. All international medical graduates applying must be US citizens or permanent residents to be considered.
