This includes the preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures necessary for the total care of patients with endocrine, structural, genetic, and fertility problems. This requires additional education and training to acquire advanced knowledge of the most current diagnostic and therapeutic approaches available. The subspecialist should be able to function effectively in the arena of basic and applied investigation in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
