Overview

We are a tertiary care Level 1 trauma center. Acute care surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, trauma, burns, urology, gyn, and all other surgical specialties admit to our 44-bed SICU services. The curriculum provides advanced clinical training in all aspects of surgical critical care. We also provide a robust educational program, research and quality improvement experiences and critical care unit administrative experience.
