UMass Memorial Medical Center's NICU is a 49-bed Level 3 unit serving central and western Massachusetts. It is the tertiary center for Region II designated for high-risk neonates and pregnancies. Our NICU serves as the training/teaching unit for programs in ob/gyn, pediatrics, and emergency medicine. We offer fellows an superb multidisciplinary training environment including innovative research, diagnosis and therapy of the fetus and newborn.
