Our program consists of approximately 6 months of the clinical experience is provided during the 1st yr of training. During the 2nd and 3rd yrs, clinical experience is reduced to 3-4 months while at the same time there is an increase in clinical care and supervisory responsibilities. Throughout the 3 yrs of training, flexibility is maintained in scheduling of clinical months with fellows' input regarding which months and which nights/weekends fellows are on clinical service.
