Overview

The Iowa Neuropathology Fellowship program includes extensive opportunities for diagnostic training in neurosurgical specimens, muscle/nerve biopsy specimens, neuro-oncology molecular genetic testing, molecular genetic testing for the neuromuscular disease FSHD, autopsy neuropathology (including forensic cases). There are pportunities to learn brain banking skills and to participate in clinical or basic research. We have five active faculty members.
