About This Program
The goals of the Jacobi heme/onc fellowship are twofold: serve our patients well, and train our fellows well. The challenge is providing care to patients from the Bronx (and from all parts of the world) who are financially disadvantaged, underinsured, and lack social supports. The fellowship is unique: 1) it teaches mechanisms and the art of medicine, 2) it has a 3-year fellow-only oncology continuity clinic. Our fellows leave the program well trained and ready to begin a long clinical career.
