About This Program

The Emergency Medicine (EM) residency at Allegheny General Hospital is a well-established program with 43 years of experience training exceptional EM physicians. Our robust and broad curriculum includes ample ICU time, exposure to 3 different community ED sites, and multiple off-service rotations. A rural track is available for those who seek exposure to that unique practice setting. We offer fellowships in EMS, Emergency Ultrasound, Sports Medicine, and Medical Education.
