Well-established program with full ACGME accreditation has fellowship positions available for 2024-2025. Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residents who will have completed residency training in the U.S. and are Board eligible in their specialty are eligible to apply. Applicants must be in good standing with their program at the time of application and at the time of entry to the fellowship program. A permanent Hawaii Medical license must be obtained before the start of the fellowship program. Successful completion of USMLE Steps I, II and III.

The fellowship features strong clinical and research faculty and provides training in varied clinical settings (hospital, outpatient, sub-acute, nursing home, VA, HMO, home care, palliative care, rehabilitation). We offer a very strong Didactic curriculum including a Medical Director Curriculum and Quality Improvement Curriculum. Fellows have protected time for Didactics and other educational activities. There are many opportunities and strong mentorship for research.
