Successful completion or on track for completion and in good academic standing from an ACGME-accredited training program in Internal Medicine for at least 1 year (categorical, transitional, or preliminary program)

Only the 1st year of a previous ACGME accredited residency program can satisfy the requirements for a preliminary year and MUST include > 8 months of Internal Medicine.
