Prerequisites
Applicants should have completed a 3-year ACGME residency in Internal Medicine. Start dates are negotiable; we welcome off-cycle applicants. ERAS applications are preferred. NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Division of Infectious Diseases seeks an outstanding physician for 2-year fellowship training in Infectious Diseases to begin December 19, 2022 (including off-cycle applications until June 30, 2023). NYPQ is a major teaching affiliate of Weill Cornell Medicine and member of NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System, situated in a multi-culturally diverse area, encountering extensive array of infections. The Division is internationally renowned for translational and clinical research of antibiotic resistance. Staff includes basic science researchers, clinical and research nurses, and includes an advanced Antibiotic Stewardship Program, Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Treatment Unit with unique educational and training opportunities and clinical trials in an AIDS Designated Center. Graduating fellows are highly competitive in academic, private, quality improvement, as well as international settings.
